 The Il Cupolone B&B has 3 double rooms comfortably furnished, silent, but above all endowed with comfortable beds with orthopedic nets and mattresses. The walls with their pastel shades confer a pleasant sense of rest and cosyness. The apartment has been restructured nearly two years ago, leaving that historical aspect unchanged of "Roman house", with the old floors in marmette, the wall papers are in line with the tradition, the handicraft style and the ancient roman style.
The double room Cupolone, from which our structure takes its name, leans out on the dome of the St. Peter Church, allowing its guests to enjoy an unique atmosphere, of a sight of incomparable beauty.
The Red room is a comfortable double, it has an attractive balcony that leans out on Via delle Fornaci, from where in the summer one can feel on the skin a pleasant breeze of Roman wind, called "Ponentino", which is typical only in this part of Rome. The room can accommodate up to three people.
The Blue room is one double whom leans out, as the Red one, on Via delle Fornaci. It is endowed with the same characteristics and the same comforts and is the first after entering the B&B. If necessary, it is comfortably able to host up to three people.
All the rooms are furnished of conditioned air, TV, closet-wardrobe, chest of drawers and chairs for an extremely functional furnishing. They are bright, airy and silent.
The two external bathrooms have walls with mosaic as in the Roman tradition. One is for private use for the persons that occupy the Room Cupolone, the other one is in sharing or in private use previous application and availability.
Location
The Il Cupolone is at few footsteps from St. Peter Church and from the Vatican Museum, at the border of the neighborhood Borgo, a zone among the surest and checked of the city, the ideal place for a pleasant stay in Rome. Castel Sant'Angelo, Navona Plaza, the Pantheon and the principal points of historical-cultural interest are easily attainable by foot, walking between the roads and the alleys of the Center in Rome; they are near also the most known shopping-streets, like Via Ottaviano and Via Cola di Rienzo. They animate the life of the neighborhood the many restaurants, theaters and the Auditorium of S. Cecilia, in Via della Conciliazione. There is a good connection by the bus n.64 and the Metro line A.
