The San Jouan Guest House is the ideal place for a full immersion in the timeless fascination of the Eternal City. The hotel is located just a short walk from the remains of Ancient Rome, the Coliseum and the Basilica di San Giovanni, the Domus Aurea and the Roman Forum. A marvellous ten-minute walk through the suggestive via dei Fori Imperiali will take you to all of the most important sites of the city: the Campidoglio, Piazza Venezia, Palazzo del Quirinale, Montecitorio where the seat of Parliament lies, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and via Condotti, the renowned shopping destination in Rome. Via Appia Nuova and its famous shops, and the Open Air Market Via Sannio, are just a few minute walk from the Hotel.
Location
We warn our guests that the stop of the metro Manzoni it is momentarily closed because of maintenance work. We advice you to get out at San Giovanni. The street Via Berni is a crossroad of Via Matteo Boiardo. You will find us after a big green gate, at number 7.
From Rome airport Leonardo da Vinci: take train to Roma Termini station (central railway), take Line A tube/subway for 2 stops with direction Anagnina and get off at San Giovanni stop. From there you are just a few steps away from us. We are in Via Francesco Berni n° 7, near piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano!! (you must ask for via matteo boiardo and the next street is via berni)you'll find us after a big green gate at number 7.
Alternatively, we can arrange an airport pick up service for €55,00. You may request to be picked up from the airport up at any time, all we need is your flight details and a driver will greet you with a sign showing your name.
From the highway: From any point of the Grande Raccordo Anulare (Rome ringway) follow indications for Roma Centro. Then follow indications for S. Giovanni Via Merulana. Refer to the map for details.

Cancellation policy and terms
At the moment of client reservation, the HOTEL agrees to reserve the services requested for the dates requested (as documented by the HOTEL'S immediate confirmation by e-mail or fax).
The client has the right to cancel his or her reservation up to ten days prior to the scheduled date of hotel arrival at no expense.
If notice of cancellation is communicated after ten days prior to the scheduled date of arrival, the client will be required to pay the entire price foreseen for the first day of stay.
Clients who fail to arrive and do not communicate notice of cancellation must pay 100% of the entire price foreseen for the entire period of stay foreseen.
Clients who arrive but do not wish to stay at the hotel must pay 100% of the entire price foreseen for the entire period of stay foreseen.
All sums due on grounds of client default will be billed using the credit card provided by the client at the moment of reservation. |
